Tense at St. Paul’s – An Occupy London Film is due for realease at the end of 2017. The following is a video snippet currently edited in the film.
A young man, occupier, had just been arrested because another occupier had reported him to the police.
Many people confirmed that the young man had reacted aggressively after being himself harassed and prodded at by another occupier who did not approve of the singing that he was partaking in late at night at the campsite. By Day 59 things were getting out of hand. People were tired and conflicted about what they were doing there. People felt disrespected and forgotten by the so called ‘policy’ working groups.
What Jimmy, the man on right of the image, says in this clip goes someway to show how a certain street smart needed to be learnt by all campers as the months passed by. This was in stark contrast to the initial love and trust the camp had started with.
